About the Competition
It is English essay competition which is been organized in both online and offline mode.
Eligibility
Any student who is enrolled/ pursuing law from recognized College/University
Guideline for essay writing competition
1. The competition will be held in hybrid mode i.e., both online and offline mode.
• The offline participants are supposed to reach at the JKILS institute on the allotted time.
• The online participants are supposed to write essay in word format and submit it by Google forms, link to which will be provided on the day of competition.
2. Participation fees is Rs.50, after payment of which candidate will be enrolled for the competition.
3. The topic will be allotted on the day of competition; it will be based on legal issue.
4. The plagiarism limit is 10% maximum.
5. No hyperlinks and references to be used.
6. The font size must be 12; Font should be Times New Roman. Cover page to consist of name of participant, College/ University’s name, Semester/Year.
7. Word limit should not exceed 1000 words (excluding cover page).
8. Time period for completion of essay is 2 hours.
9. Each participant will be provided with E-certificate of Participation.
• Provided that for E-certificate-
a. The essay should be submitted in the prescribed format not exceeding the plagiarism limit (of 10%) and within the allotted time period.
b. It is must that the submitted essay consists of at least 250 words (excluding the cover page content).
Prizes
• 1st prices – INR 2100
• 1st Runner up prize – INR 1100
• 2nd Runner up prize – INR 500
